Visiting Palazzo Barberini: Practical Information

Palazzo Barberini welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the last entry at 6:00 PM. The museum is located at Via delle Quattro Fontane, 13 – 00184 Rome, Italy. For directions, consult a map or use public transportation: several bus lines (53, 61, 62, 63, 80, 81, 83, 160, 492, 590) serve the area, and the Metro A line has a Barberini stop.

The museum is closed on Mondays, December 25th, and January 1st.

Ticketing Information:

  • A combined ticket for Palazzo Barberini and Galleria Corsini is available for €15 (full price), valid for 20 days.

  • Reduced tickets (€2) are available for EU citizens aged 18-25.

  • Admission is free for visitors under 18, EU school groups (with reservations), EU faculty and students in relevant fields, MiC employees, ICOM members, licensed tour guides, journalists with press cards, and people with disabilities and one companion.

National Galleries Pass:

  • An Individual Pass (€60, with a launch promotion of €45 until March 2, 2025), Young Pass (€10 for ages 18-24), and Senior Pass (€45, with a launch promotion of €30 until March 2, 2025) are available. These passes provide unlimited access for one year, event participation, exhibition previews, and discounts. More details are available online.

Reservations are recommended for free Sundays (first Sunday of the month), April 25th, June 2nd, and November 4th. Online ticket purchases are available for individuals and groups. Group reservations can also be made via email.

Accredited Operators:

Tourism operators can apply for accredited status to purchase tickets under special conditions by contacting the service provider.

Visitor Services:

A cloakroom is available for handbags, backpacks, and umbrellas (luggage and suitcases are not permitted). Groups are limited to 25 people (including guides), and radio-transmitter systems are required for visits, which cannot exceed two hours.

Accessibility:

Parking is available for visitors with disabilities. The museum is accessible via entrances without architectural barriers, and ramps and elevators provide access to all exhibition floors.
